With our winery and distillery situated at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, we are blessed to be close to natures beauty in all directions. The founders of Spirit Hawk, being avid outdoors-men and enthusiasts, want to preserve the area around them for generations to come. Much like our alcohol, we want the results of tireless work and innovation to speak for itself and make lasting impressions, not the waste.
Spirit Hawk prides itself in its goal to become a net zero waste facility. With all our electricity coming from solar, our water recycled and re-used for irrigation of crops on surrounding property, and all our still waste being converted to fertilizer through a patented process, we hope to bring alcoholic waste processing into the future.
The only trace we want to leave, is our impact on sustainability and our products' delicious finish. We hope to shape in some way how the alcohol industry conducts their fermentation, distillation and overall impact on land, vegetation and wildlife. It is not whatever successes we take with us, but the ones we leave behind.
